Emerald (Panna)

Emerald stone, also called Panna in Hindi, is the oldest gemstone known. The stone’s soothing, vivid green color is pleasing and is believed to energize the mind, soul, and body. It is a member of the beryl mineral family and is widely used for wedding jewelry, engagement rings, and heirlooms. In Vedic astrology, the emerald stone is linked to the planet Mercury or Budh.
